The Valleyview Male Chorus

Valleyview Male Chorus celebrated its twenty-eighth anniversary in 2024. No one anticipated such a run at the time the fledging chorus of 15 men was initially organized to sing for a church service early in 1997. There was strong interest within the group to continue singing and so it was that in the spring of that year the chorus presented its first concert, which subsequently became an annual event. Although its ties to Valleyview Church have remained, the choir has gradually grown to become an established community chorus. Its members encompass a broad spectrum in terms of age, experience, musical ability, and denominational affiliation. The repertoire includes both sacred and secular music and spans a wide genre of musical styles including classics, gospel, folk, contemporary. Also, there is an ongoing sense of community and support among chorus members.
