This is a great time to bring your questions about this proposal which was presented at April s AGM.

7:00pm Male Chorus Rehearsal

 

7:00pm 8:00pm: Online Bible Study (Zoom)

Please email Pastor Marv (marv@valleyviewmc.ca) if you re interested in joining May 8 and 15.

Our next Thursday evening Bible study will take place Thursday, May 8.

The Scripture you are asked to read is the story of the Samaritan woman at the well from John 4:1-42.

I will send out a Zoom link. We meet from 7-8pm and all are welcome to join.

 

Saturday, May 10

3:30pm - ***EVENT*** Intergenerational Gathering at Valleyview

Join us for one or all of the planned activities as we gather all ages together for a fun afternoon and evening of fellowship.

Activities:

1.     3:30pm Hike through Kilally Woods along north shore of Thames River. We will meet by the Dan Pulham Field at the far east end of Windemere Road - off Adelaide - and begin our hike from this point. (one hour)

2.     5:00pm Dinner at the church: Wiener roast and Ice Cream Sundaes  free-will offering will be collected to help cover the cost of the meal

3.     6:00pm Intergenerational table games

7:30pm - Valleyview Male Chorus 29th Annual Spring Concert

Location: First Baptist Church, 568 Richmond Street in London.  The program will consist of a range of songs sung by male voices including songs of faith, spirituals, meditative numbers, folk songs and contemporary music, all with the goal of inspiring hope, faith and joy in the listener.  All are welcome to this Annual event. Tickets $20 at the door.

10:30am - Annual Park Worship Service & Church Picnic, at Fanshawe Conservation Area s Watson Porter Pavilion

Join us for Valleyview's annual worship service at Fanshawe Park Conservation Area (1424 Clarke Road, north of Huron St.) 

        10:30am:  Worship Service

        12:00pm:  Potluck Picnic Lunch

        1:00pm:    Family Activity & Games 

Plan to stay for the afternoon, enjoying free time & fellowship!

Valleyview is a scent-free zone as many participants have strong reactions to scented products. Please refrain from using all scented products: cologne, perfume, hairspray, hand and body lotion.

No Peanuts: Allergy Alert

Some members in attendance experience serious peanut allergy. Please refrain from bringing, eating, or serving any food labelled as containing peanuts or with warning May contain peanuts .
