During second hour this Sunday there will be a potluck meal for all.  Coffee and water will be provided.

 

VOLUNTEER HELP NEEDED

We are looking for 4 to 6 volunteers to arrive at 9:30am and setup tables and chairs in the basement. If you can help, please contact Brenda: brendafriesen1963@gmail.com. 

 

What to Bring: 

• Food to Share (Peanut Free, Sesame Free) for potluck lunch 
• Your own dishes, cups, and cutlery
• Please bring a serving dish and utensil for your potluck contribution. Label your dish with your name and be sure to collect it before leaving.

 

Cleanup help after the meal will also be required. We look forward to our time together over a shared meal.

Winter Worship Series

During January and February, our worship services will focus on the lectionary readings.   The series begins with a focus on Jesus and the gathering of his disciples.  Over the following weeks, we will reflect on Jesus' teachings from the Sermon on the Mount.

Invitation to participate in MCC's Great Winter Warm Up at Valleyview

Saturday, January 31 - 10:00am to 12:00pm (noon) 

Join us at Valleyview ON Saturday January 31st from 10:00am to 12:30pm for our local MCC Great Winter Warm Up event. You are invited to participate by knotting a comforter and contributing to the gift of warm comforters to those in need around the world. Each comforter provides not only warmth but also a tangible reminder to people in vulnerable situations that their needs are not forgotten. Some Ukrainian food and light refreshments will be served.

       Music Retreat (Apr 10-12): Come to Silver Lake for some time away at camp filled with singing and instrumental music! Sing through songbooks, hymnals and more in the company of music-lovers!

Valleyview is a scent-free zone as many participants have strong reactions to scented products. Please refrain from using all scented products: cologne, perfume, hairspray, hand and body lotion.
